Essential Ella

~ Veröffentlichung von Ella Fitzgerald (alle Versionen dieser Veröffentlichung ansehen, eine vorhanden)

Anmerkung

Notes

Somewhat (strangely) obscure Verve sampler, apparently issued only in the UK during the mid 90s.
Material is drawn from the Verve vaults, which essentially means it's excellent, though the logic driving the cuts choice and the packaging aren't really appealing.
Obviously fit for newcomers rather than amateurs, it might still provide them an honest glimpse at Ella's best period if found at a decent price.
