Annotation
based on Argentine poet Jorge Luis Borges' short story of of the same title / (eng: Man on Pink Corner), this suite runs about 18m 15s long and has 7 parts:
1. Aparición de Rosendo – narration only (0:00–3:53)
2. Rosendo y La Lujanera – singing only (3:59–6:10)
3. a) Aparición de Real / b) Tango para Real y La Lujanera – narration only (6:16–9:32)
4. Milonga nocturna – singing only (9:38–12:00)
5. Bailongo – instrumental (12:05–13:16)
6. Muerte de Real – singing only (13:23–18:??) / 7. Epílogo – instrumental
(there is no clear break between 6 and 7, but the music in 6 winds down by the 8min mark, so the very brief epilogue might be from then on. for now, will combine 6 & 7 into one sub-work. the tracklists in some editions seem to suggest that "Muerte de Real" and "Epílogo" are alternate titles referring to the same track, ie "Muerte de Real (Epílogo)")
