The Cold Rise From Sleep

~ Release by 20SIX Hundred (see all versions of this release, 1 available)

Annotation

The third album from 20SIX Hundred continues to explore synthesized soundscapes, while incorporating an essence of late 70's Giallo and 80's futuristic "outrun". Using themes of darkness and loneliness, infused with a sense of dread and madness, "The Cold Rise From Sleep" will keep you constantly looking over your shoulder.

"...I deeply enjoyed this album on a huge variety of levels. The rich storytelling and mixtures of sounds from many different influences makes for something very special. It works exceedingly well as a concept or soundtrack album but the individual tracks themselves stand on their own as being parts just as important as the whole. The album is a masterfully made experience that raises the bar on the soundtrack oriented album. "
