The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy: Secondary Phase

~ Release by Douglas Adams (see all versions of this release, 6 available)

Annotation

Some versions of this disc in the past, present, or indeed the future, have track 2 as "Hitch-Hiking, What Do They Know?". It is however the same track with the same content, and so not very important to know.

Douglas Adams' groundbreaking radio sci-fi, originally broadcast on BBC Radio 4, 24th December 1978 onwards. Also available as a book, TV series, Movie, Adventure Game and Towel.

Hitch-Hiker's vs Hitchhikers: The BBC 2001 CD releases use the hyphen. Douglas Adams' preferred spelling was with no hyphen. Whilst technically this album title doesn't reflect what's on the sleeve, the spelling used is 'more correct'. Interesting to note however, was that while the books and trilogy were referred to without the hyphen, the actual fictional guide used by the characters within the same books included the hyphen.
