先月、HI-TECH at ZEROTOKYOにてEXCLUSIVE TECH DANCE SET "Chapter 2"と謳って再びTECH DANCE SETを披露したのですが、本作は、その際にプレイしたNEEDSの特別ヴァージョンをさらに細かく手直ししたものです。これは僕の作品群の中でも少し異色かもしれませんね。一際メロウなこの作風は、自身の音楽遍歴の上でかなり重要な80年代後期から90年代初期の、例えばアンビエントハウス等が色濃く反映されています。この暑い夏の季節に、どかこ過ごしやすい避暑で楽しんでもらえたらいいなあ。

PS. NEEDSのオリジナルミックスは2013年にリリース、その後2015年にavexより発表したアルバム"Chapter X"においてボーナストラックとしてHOUSE MIXを発表しました。知らない方はそれらと比較てして聴いてみるのも面白いかもしれませんよ。

Last month at HI-TECH at ZEROTOKYO, we performed the TECH DANCE SET again under the title of EXCLUSIVE TECH DANCE SET “Chapter 2”, and this is a more detailed reworking of the special version of NEEDS that I played at that event. This might be a bit unique in my discography.
My musical history is very long, and the 80's and early 90's were a very important time for me.
I was quite devoted to ambient house at the time, and this work may reflect that era very well.I hope people will enjoy this track during this hot summer season in a comfortable summer retreat.

PS. The original mix of NEEDS was released in 2013, and the HOUSE MIX was later included as a bonus track on the album “Chapter X” released from avex in 2015.
For those who do not know them, it might be interesting to compare them with the original mix.
