Ten Past Midnight

Being a David Lynch/Twin Peaks fan, I've heard my fair share of dark, gloomy jazz growing up. But I've never really written and produced a track in that style. So I figured, why not?!

This track started as a jam session for one. :P I came up with some chords and began to improvise over it. Adding in some other live musicians to embellish and enhance the skeleton I had put together really helped bring the track to life.

I love how the trumpet and saxophone intertwine, playing off the melody in the last section. I hope you like this track too! Feel free to share it on your socials as I'd love to get a bit more exposure out there!
