Copied directly from Bandcamp page:

Second volume of a conceptual project mashing/remixing Britney Spears with avant-garde and noise musicians. Originally released in 2010, remastered from (mostly) lossless sources in 2012.

Each track involves a Britney Spears track layered on top of an avant-garde or noise track, with as little editing or manipulation as possible. The intention was not to sync the two tracks perfectly or to 'mash' them in the traditional sense, but rather to produce random connections between the two layers (a rhimix, rather than a remix). Having said this, a successful track for me involves the two adding something to eachother musically (rather than detracting, or destroying one another) - while retaining their independence. For this reason I consider them minimalist mashups, producing superimpositions (rather than new 'songs').

Inspired by Gilles Deleuze's discussion of the rhizome, John Oswald's plunderphonics and John Cage's investigation of chance and randomness.
