Olmeca releases his new album La Contra Cultura/ Counter Culture on IXIM and Dos Manos. Executive Produced by notable writer/poet Luis J. Rodriguez.

His new release is a well composed hip hop album in spanish/english that takes you through the life of ghetto kid turned rebel. It contains collaborations by Ozomatli member Wil Dog Abers, La Marisoul of La Santa Cecilia, Luis J. Rodriguez, Acid Reign and more.

The production is a combination of musical jewels by notable Producer Dj Pain (Gucci Mane, Joell Ortiz, Jim Jones), as well as Olmeca's own mixture of hip hop and traditional instruments.

The album has set Olmeca on a path throughout the States, Canada, Latino America discussing the content of the album, while being welcomed by hip hop fans eager for more music.
