The Bach of Rock

~ Release by Professor Longhair (see all versions of this release, 2 available)

Annotation

Copyright: Sunset Blvd Records

Several tracks are mislabeled on this sloppily assembled release. "Doin' It Again" is actually another recording of "Hey Now Baby". "Mardi Gras in New Orleans (instrumental)" is in fact "Rum and Coca-Cola". "Is Everything All Right" is titled "Meet Me Tomorrow Night". "Since I Lost My Baby" is actually 'Mean Old World".

"Stompin' With Fess", "Untitled (instrumental)" and 'Every Day I Have The Blues" are all additional recordings of "Doin' It".

The first six tracks appear to be early studio recordings, with the remainder consisting of live tracks probably from the 1970s.
