This album was not released under Chaka Khan's name. It was released as the band "Echoes of an Era" of which Chaka Khan was member, along with some very serious jazz heavyweights: Joe Henderson, Stanley Clarke, Freddie Henderson, Chick Corea, Lenny White. This is essentially a recording of Chick Corea's band "Return to Forever" with Chaka Khan on vocals and Joe Henderson on tenor sax.
