Album release statement:

A compilation of angsty, angry, anti-capitalist, and queer resistance songs that we wrote over the last year. Last song on the album is a cover of Back to the Water by Profane Sass which we wrote a few versus into.

This EP is a benefit album for the Ginew Collective which is a resistance camp fighting against the Line 3 tar sands oil pipeline. Line 3 is an Enbridge pipeline that goes through Ojibwe Treaty Territory Land, countless sacred sights, other tribal lands including the Fond Du Lac Reservation, wild rice beds, and 192 bodies of water, including the Mississippi River twice. Pipelines always leak and when they do they poison our waters; Flint still doesn’t have clean water and 10 years from now you might count yerself lucky to have it. Not only is the water at risk but climate collapse is upon us. This is not just “global warming” this is a full on climate disaster. Tar sands have been identified by climate scientists as the “nail in the coffin” for the earth, and the UN insists that we have only 12 years to make the necessary fixes to the industries that pollute our planet before it’s too late. Minnesota is the last state that Line 3 has to build in, we are the final frontier, and we must do everything in our power to stop Line 3.

Purchasing info:
All proceeds will go to the Ginew Collective: www.facebook.com/ginewcollective/

This album is pay what you can, however, we encourage those with access to wealth tto donate to the cause either directly or through downloading our music here. If you can't afford to pay anything or if you are contributing to the frontlines resistnace fighting line 3 or if you jus like free tunez you can find all the songs fir free right here: archive.org/details/Ginew

We chose to make this a benefit album (1) because Line 3 is an immediate climate catastrophe and we need to contribute funds to its resistance, and (2) because our music draws inspiration from the pain and struggle of those participating in resistance efforts, specifically indigenous water protectors, we feel that it is unethical to profit off of others pain. We are following the lead of the artists/journalists in Unicorn Riot who released Black Snake Killaz, a documentary about the NODAPL movement, for free and for donation as a means of reparations.
