Annotation

In 1981 THE CLASH recorded what should have been released as "Rat Patrol From Fort Bragg" but was released in 1982 as "Combat Rock". The original version of "Rat Patrol From Fort Bragg" was produced by Mick Jones and is nowadays known as "the original Combat Rock".

It is made up of the original recordings by Mick Jones of what would become the Combat Rock album. A lot of these songs never saw the light of day and the original mixes were never used either due to the struggles and fighting that the band was starting to experience at this point in time.
