Eight Classic Albums (Corrected Album/Song Order)

~ Release by Lou Donaldson (see all versions of this release, 1 available)

Annotation

PLEASE READ:
This is a compilation of 8 Lou Donaldson albums by the Real Gone label.
There is only one release link on Discogs that lists the album/song order as it exists on the packaging materials.
IT IS INACCURATE IN THE EXTREME.
https://www.discogs.com/release/4722269-Lou-Dona…
THIS IS THE CORRECT ALBUM ORDER:
Disc 1: Wailing With Lou (1957) (Tracks 1-6) / Swing and Soul (1957) (Tracks 7-13)
Disc 2: Blues Walk (1958) (Tracks 1-6) / Sunny Side Up (1960) (Tracks 7-14)
Disc 3: Light-Foot (1959) (Tracks 1-7) / LD + 3 (1959) (Tracks 8-14)
Disc 4: Lou Takes Off (1958) (Tracks 1-4) / The Time Is Right (1960) (Tracks 5-11)
I have confirmed the errors by listening to the tracks and comparing them to the original albums.
This release is set up specifically for the purpose of creating an accurate representation of the actual album and song order that necessarily differs substantially from the packaging and the parroted listing of that misprinted material on Discogs.
